Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Her initial inspiration was shadows cast on grass. Months later she came up with a technique that did not render the chosen object onto canvas in a flat image. The object becomes a representation of itself, while the canvas is carrying an interpretation by painting of the object, particularly when it's a live object or perishable for example, fruit or humans. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the photos of her work remain. The painting and photography techniques are closely coordinated and result in a two-dimensional, flat space that achieves trompe l'oeil. Only certain parts of the image such as the hair, or eyes, reveal the three-dimensional dimension. Meade often incorporates models painted within the surrounding space. They are able to be part of the world she has created. Through this, Meade has dissolved the boundaries between photography, painting and the performance.
